Recording Your Messages on Hold
It is strange that so many businesses don't realize how critical their messages on hold are – or could be! Think about it. You have a captive audience. Your customers are holding on line to get a hold of one of your representatives and they must listen closely in the event that they come on the phone. This means you can tape a really interesting message that offers them plenty of information, and they'll hear everything. Do not make it boring though – you would find that if your message simply repeats itself and is told in a dreary voice, you'll receive lots of hang ups.
