Voice Over Artists

Voice over artists are involved in the production method where a voice is not part of the narrative utilized in a radio, television, film, theater or other presentation. Voice over artists use their talents in a variety of productions. These productions involve character voices, creative devices, educational devices, commercial devices and translation devices. Voice over artists are able to insert commentary and personality to specific productions.

Voice over artists that are involved with character voice-overs are able to add voices and personalities to animated characters. Voice over artists that are using their talents with creative devices, can sometimes use random voices that are not directly connected to the people seen on the screen. Voice over artists try to create the effect of storytelling by a character or narrator. At times, voice over artists can help in maintaining continuity in edited versions of films. Continuity can aid the audience understand what is occurring between scenes.
