Voice Talent

Voice talent acting is the art of providing voices for animated characters that are in feature films, television programs, animated short films and video games. Voice talent can cover radio and audio dramas and comedy. People that are involved with voice talent can be recognized as voice actors, voice actresses or voice artists. Voice talent artists typically perform voice-overs. Voice-over methods can be used as a character device, creative device, educational device, commercial device or a translation device.

An individual that uses voice talent acting as a character device gives voices and personalities to animated characters. A voice talent that uses a creative device creates the cause of storytelling by a character narrator. It can add permanence to edited versions of films. Television networks that provide educational material use voice talent to insert commentary. In commercial industries, voice talent may be used to help companies with brand messaging.
