On the other hand, there are a couple of basic rules of thumb you should keep in mind. First, you need your message to be enlightening. You need your clients to carry on listening because they believe the information is helpful. You also want the message to be in a soothing, friendly voice. Your clients are unlikely to hold on for an extended priod if you have a rough, rasping voice that works on their nerves and is annoying to listen to.
